The Britesmile process consists of a gentle hydrogen-peroxide teeth whitening gel being applied to your teeth and then activated by a special "blue spectrum" light. Britesmile has been shown to be one of the most effective and safest tooth bleaching systems ever to be developed. And the Britesmile tooth bleaching process can be completed in one office visit lasting less than two hours.

An alternative to Britesmile is home teeth whitening. This process requires the fabrication of trays that are made to fit your teeth which hold the tooth bleaching gel against your teeth. The patient wears the bleach trays at home for at least two hours per day and can achieve their new brightened smile in 7-14 days.

Documented scientific studies have demonstrated that neither of these teeth whitening techniques cause damage to the enamel, brittleness or weakening of the teeth.
