Your porcelain veneer procedure will take place over at least two appointments, depending on the type and extent of the work being done.

Your consultation

During your initial consultation, we will discuss your goals, your interests, and what you're looking for in your smile. In addition, we discuss your options regarding tooth placement, color, size and shape to ensure that you get just the smile you're looking for.

Preparing your teeth

During your first appointment, your teeth will be shaped to receive the veneers. This will involve recontouring the surface of your teeth to accommodate the veneers.

We will then take a precise custom mold of your prepared teeth, which will be used to fabricate your new, custom veneers. Finally, we will fit you with temporary veneers to wear until your permanent veneers are completed.

Fitting the veneers

When you come in for your next visit, we will have your custom designed and fabricated veneers waiting for you. We will remove your temporary veneers and place your permanent veneers so you can see just what they'll look like once they're permanently bonded.

Once you've seen your new smile and are happy with the way they look, we will remove the veneers and prepare for the final bonding.

We will gently and thoroughly clean the surface of your teeth, and then we'll apply a specially formulated bonding adhesive to the surface and will permanently affix your new veneers, making any minor adjustments necessary to ensure a perfect, permanent fit.
